Yes, It is possible to transfer the device once it has been removed from the Optisafe app. (Optisafe main screen>Settings>Select the “Delete Device” at the bottom of the screen and delete the device.)
Yes, recording for every SOS event is saved with Optisafe, recording will be saved for 30 days, after 30 days recordings will automatically removed from Optisafe.
Yes, recording files also shared over the email to the paired contact’s registered email and to the SOS contacts over SMS.
Once SOS is triggered then live location is shared for 30 minutes, location updated after every 30 seconds for 30 minutes. But if SOS device triggered again then it will stop the location update for the previous event and update location for 30 minutes for last event.
Maximum 3 SOS contacts can be configured.
Following steps need to be followed
  • Download Optisafe app at SOS contact’s handset.
  • Finish the account registration process. Once done, Account code for SOS contact is generated. Check Account code as shown in below image:

  • myherosettings
  • My Buddy SOS contact along with his Optisafe Account code needs to be entered.
  • Once configured this way, SOS contact will also get Siren alert in addition to SMS.
Android OS 5.0 (Lollipop) and above support the Optisafe application.

No, one My Buddy device can be paired only with one Account or Smart phone.
No need to reconfigure, if you already registered My Buddy with Optisafe, then after upgrade the phone when login to Optisafe account it will show the paired device.
Yes, it will work even your handset set at Silent or Mute profile. But this functionality works only for Android smart phones.
My Buddy battery life about 6 months and it will depend on the number of SOS triggers/incident. The App will give an alert when the battery level goes to 20%. To replace battery please check the instruction manual.
